After appointing new GM Jim Apollinaire earlier this week, Davenport Devils have signalled their intent to improve and perhaps - eventually - score a goal, with the appointment of Head Coach Michael Gillatt.

When asked about the qualities of his new bench boss, GM Apollinaire commented "Well, he's better than what we had running the show before - the mop and bucket from the locker room".
