' We did it ! '

The Rookie squad took 2nd in the league and it did indeed come down to the wire. What a finish ! those last four/five games against all the top sides we had to win and we did it ! What a team !

Of course we still have the playoffs to come, but anything we get now is a bonus.

Also huge congratulations to our main line who were outstanding all season and all three front men and the Goalie made Team of The Season.

Nick Moeller - Goaltender
Owen Dunlop - Left Wing
Emil Eliasson - Centre
Stefan Stelmach - Right Wing

Our two top defenders made 3rd and 4th Defensive point scorers overall as well.

We wouldn't normally make such a press statement. But It's all good and I hope we can be an inspiration to those who join up in their first season and go for it. It can be done !

Thanks again to all our fellow players in the league for fighting hard and making this a great experience. It really has been a highlight for me personally and I wish everyone my very best wishes for 2012.
