Serge Banks, formally of the Calgary Chinooks (Canada II.1, currently 3rd), is the first free agent signing of the Eden Snow Angels. He signed his new contract 1 second before his new teammate, František Rýdzi, previously of Cassovia HC (Slovakia IV.7, currently 16th). At their press conference the two new players were handed their new jersey. Banks put on his new gold Snow Angel uniform featuring the Snow Angels Kate Upton logo and Rýdzi his new navy blue Miranda Kerr logo jersey. The goalie will be wearing #1 in the upcoming post season and defenseman Banks will be wearing #22.

Banks at the young age of 15 has no game experience and will be looking forward to getting to play his first game for the Snow Angels.

Rýdzi at 21-years-old is in his second season and has played 32 career games (30 Regular Season, 1 Playoff, 1 National Cup). However, he is hoping to get a fresh start with the Snow Angels. His second season has been rough (14 GP, 74 GA, 69.92 SV%, 15.86 GAA, plus a National Cup where he gave up 6 goals in 20 minutes). His best career game came in a playoff game for Cassovia HC in Season 15 where he allowed 1 goal on 4 shots in 20 minutes of play. In his 30 total regular season games played he has given up 119 goals with a 73.08% and an 8.30 goal allowed average with no shutouts. The Snow Angels are hoping that giving Rýdzi a second chance will payoff for both him and the franchise.
