With the teams lose today by a score of 4-2 to Kingston HC, the Vancouver Wild Jokers have all but been sealed in their fate to miss the play-offs after the General Manager and Team President of Hockey Operation stated a few weeks back that they were warning the division that they would make the play-off round of top eight teams.

"Yeah, I might have spoken to early as I didn't really look at the remaining games that we had and we played majority of the top eight teams in the final stretch to the season." commented Bouchard when asked about his former warning to the division. "We still won't miss by that much as we are only four points back with two games remaining but looking at Infamous FC schedule and the fact that they need a only 2 points in the remaining two game; we will miss the top 8 play-offs in our first season."

"It has been a great season when you look at the fact that we took over the team about half way through the season and we were no where close to making the play-offs so to get close is a huge warning to teams for next season that we should be in the top eight." added Bouchard when asked if he was disappointed in this teams efforts. "I am more proud that the team turned around the goal differential as when we took over the team was negitive 200 goal differential. Now we sit with a plus 33 goal differential. This shows that we made a huge step in the right direction when we were able to work the transfer market." stated Bouchard proudly.

"I won't comment on future plans at this time since we still have two games remaining plus the seeding play-offs so it would premature for me to give a season and future update but expect one to come before the start of next season." stated Bouchard when asked for an future & seasonal update since it was the end of the season.

One would assume that Vancouver would look to build on the late season success in the seeding play-offs and into next season. Like every team they have gaps to fill but are they needing to fill them at a cost to the future development of the team or should the be filled at all. We will look forward to the seasonal review and future update to come.
