Edmonton Frozen Blizzards† - The Painful Wait
The first part of the arena facelift has been completed and now we have nothing better to do then watch the young men on the Vancouver Wild Jokers current roster embarrass themselves on the ice. From Practice to games the team is made up of a whole bunch of rec hockey players that will not be on our roster longer term.
That being said we are simple waiting for four more days so that the transfer market can open up to us and we can start improving our roster. That means four more days of watching the team lose by an average for 17 goals per game and if luck to score a single goal as the team average 0.25 goals per game. Still not even sure how that they managed that!! LOL!!
We have gone through the roster this past week and we found some decent players but it will take time before they are going to be able to make a huge difference that we require asap. Most interesting prospect that we found so far was Matteo Hamelin, who was playing out of position on right defense when he has stronger goaltending skills. Currently he is still playing defense for the team due to injuries while we train his goaltending skills.
Training players at the moment doesn't make sense either since we have limited prospects, limited facilities and No coaches. This leave us in the wait mode once again. That being said longer term we are better off waiting then making huge moves as we still need to increase our income before we try to build a better team.
So while the wait is only four more days before we can start improving our club; there are many questions that need to be answered before we spend money on the transfer market to make the team better.
That being said expect at least a few new faces within the week at the club since we know we need immediate help in some areas of the club; who and how many of these players will still yet be determined as sadly it will come down to whom is on the market and when as to how we fix this team short term.
