Dunnville Mudcats - No Relocation
(AP) PPM Officials have moved in and squashed any attempt by new owner Liu Ya Ya to move the Dunnville Mudcats to China for next season. Officials, tiring of the seemingly endless run of press releases from the southern Ontario town, blocked the sale and issued a warning to Mudcat President and GM Paul Roedb for what one official, speaking on condition of anonymity, called, "the tiring ill attempts at humour by an obviously bored and lonely man". Following the announcement, new owner Liu Ya Ya issued his own statement announcing his decision to abandon the planned move and also stating the GM's job was no longer in immediate jeopardy. Roedb, contacted at the team's arena earlier this evening, appeared relaxed and confident as he chatted with reporters. Mocking the attempted referendum as a failure, he suggested that the vote would not stand up in court as, "Most of the people in this town can't read."
