Weekly round-up comes a day late due to christmas holidays. Merry christmas (little late) to everybody and happy and succesful new year 2010. Even the manager has been on holiday, the Crybabies have been busy playing and trying to achieve the goals manager has given them.

In the league CB had very difficult week. CB lost points in every game they played, only getting one overtime win on monday and losing 2 times, one home and one away. The lost on wednesday against Mighty Mäy was mostly because of wrong tactics and therefor deserved. Monday CB should have got 3 points as on friday against Kiekkoilijat. Both games was poor game for Crybabies goalkeeper Marian Slavik. Slavik has played 6 games in league with save-% of 83,50 and is most likely in the bottom of GK statistics table. Due to this poor run, Crybabies went down to 3rd in the league table, 2 points behind leading SK Molotovi.

In the CWC Crybabies took important win against Languedoc PPM. Crybabies strengthened the 1st position in the group 16 as Bijeljina Cabbagers lost points in the quest of Hoki Klub Szereda. Next CB will face Bijeljina Cabbagers away and with the win CB will be in the very good position after the 5 first games of CWC.

Saturday Crybabies played semi-finals in Powerduck Cup- credit tournament. Game was a thriller as CB managed to win Dragon Knights Olomouc just after penalty shoot-out. Game itself was very even as the scoreline 4-5 SO shows, even though CB won shots 20-33. Crybabies led the game 1-3 after the 1st and 2nd perioid, but Dragon Knights bounced back in the third and fired 3 goals in the first 10minutes of 3rd perioid. Terho Vilonen was again the one to take CB to the overtime and Tuure Nummisto was the only one to score in the penalty shoot-out in the 4th pair. The victory was delicious as Crybabies lost twice to Dragon Knights in the group stage of the tournament:

"I´m very happy with the win, but it was a very close call. Dragon Knights were very efficient with their scoring chances and we have difficulties with their quick and technical attackers. Dragon Knights is a very strong team so we can be happy with the win. We lost twice, but luckily not thrice. Some other day we would have lost. In the finals we will face the Finnish team Ketterä which won´t be any easier match.", commented Crybabies manager santar after the victorious game on saturday night.

In another credit tournament Polish Stars Open, Crybabies managed to get one point in the quest of very strong Duck's Masta Squad. Crybabies was trailing 3-0 after the first perioid but managed to pull even as the game ended 4-4. Crybabies is last in their group 2, but there are still many games to be played and all the teams are within 2 points.
