It was announced late Saturday night that the Canadian Express had sold Brandt Morrison to the Black...Cats of the Czech V.81 league for $30 000. Morrison served 6 seasons as the Express captain playing 260 games with 149 goals and 293 assists for 442 points.

"I want to thank the fans here for supporting me over the last 7 seasons. I regret not being able to help win a championship. I also would like to say thank you to Mr. Clutch for giving me the opportunity to play for this team." said an emotional Morrison as he was unpacking his stall.

Coach Vratislav Nedozral stated that he would not be naming a new captain this season.
