Vandals broke into The Horned Rat Center last night and trashed much of the building, breaking interior windows, drink machines, computers, torching a portable toilet and damaging an electrical box. Lockers were also broken into and contents either stolen or strewn across hallways.

Detectives said the vandals smashed out a window on the north side of the arena and crawled through to gain access. Detective estimate the crime spree took place over a four-hour period and have said the scope of the damage indicates more than one person was involved.

Nestor Cheng, Head of the Maintenance center said that "It is really sad. I don't know what would drive someone to do this."

Police have no information on possible suspects and are encouraging residents to contact police if they have any information
