Caracas Dragons HC - The Dragons go for young signings
After 24 seasons of existence, Caracas Dragons have found economic stability (or at least the formula to not go in debt anymore) and has started signing new players in that could help the team fight for a spot on I.1. Not only they have signed a few strong players, but they have also signed young players that will follow the trail of Aragon, and Aristiguieta, Bofill, and even Salom, Ricardi, and Fuancoiu: Players that entered the team with less than 20 years and now are veterans and leaders on the team.
Owner: "We're deeply happy to have made these signings, since we believe in this new group and their future development as players. We know that they will give everything they can to become leaders in this team and help us become the best team in the Rest of the World".
This is going to be a complicated task for coach Rivera, who has to pick his usual 17 and also make an eye for the youth that could eventually become the starters. We only expect to keep watching the Dragons grow with every season and finally find them taking part of international tournaments.
Rivera: "It's only a pleasure to know I'm going to have to check on players every once in a while. Check that they're making new things on every practice and notice when the youth surpasses the veterans. I'm thrilled!".
More than 15 transfers won't go unnoticed, the Dragons are on the eye of the public and will have a huge challenge to prove 50 million were not wasted.
Hoist the colours high, never shall we lose!
