Crybabies streched their winning streak in the league to 6 games, winning Pohjola Falmes and Mad Devils away and beating HC Töölöburger home. Crybabies took the 1st place in the league by margin of 2 ponts as SK Molotovi was beaten home by HT Toukka. First quarter of the season has gone better than expected, as Crybabies manager santar said after the victorious game on friday night:

"Our goal in the league has been and still is only in the play-offs. We are not fighting for winning the league, nor securing the home advantage for the play-offs. Our main goals are in the Cups and we want to succeed there. First quarter has been better than expected but only because we have not yet faced most of the best teams. There will be losses and we have to get over those. We have to keep working, because there will be no free points."

In the CWC Crybabies played their first away game against Serbian team HK Dunavac and got away with one important point. The man of the match was goalkeeper Petr Žďárský who stopped 30 of 32 shots. Jooa Pihlaniemi and Terho Vilonen marked their names in the goalsheet as the game ended 2-2. Crybabies took the lead in the group 16 as Languedoc PPM took important win against the former-leader Bijeljina Cabbagers to keep their play-off dream alive. Next week Crybabies will face the in-form Languedoc PPM and that match will be very important for both teams. With the win CB will strengthen the play-off spot and with the lose Languedoc PPM will lose their chance to play-offs significantly.

In the on-going credit tournament Powerduck Cup Crybabies made their way in the semi-finals. CB took important overtime win in the away game against Israel team Hapoel Givat Brener. Petr Žďárský was once again the one CB could rely on the weak moments. Žďárský stopped 29/30 shots and was clearly the man of the match. Veikko Hallamäki´s powerplay goal was the one to take Crybabies to overtime and Joonas Läspä´s chip from the blue line in the last minute of overtime made Crybabies to win the game. In the semi-finals CB will face strong Dragon Knights Olomouc which they already lost twice in the same tournaments group stage.

In the opening match of Polish Stars Open, Crybabies suffered an unlucky defeat in home ice. The one to take points was polish team Scheps33Tychy. CB won shots 34-16 but lost the game 2-4. Both goalkeepers were suffering obviously in some kind of hangover as neither of them could caught pucks better than 75% chance.
