Dunnville Mudcats - Church Failure
(AP) Dunnville Mudcats' General Manager Paul Roedb has again failed to impress his vision on the PPM game despite making a personal visit to Europe this past weekend to deliver a personal appeal to PPM officials requesting changes to the existing game. Roedb's most recent idea was to introduce a chapel to the list of team facilities but failed to convince league brass of the merits of such an addition. A PPM official, speaking under anonymity, said, "He seemed to think that providing a religious establishment of some sort would provide a boost to lower ability teams when playing superior opposition by allowing for an added game calculation of prayer. We politely informed him that we felt that investing in the current menu of facilities or his arena would be a better use of funds." Roedb then apparently became, "animated and hostile" and proceeded to change his reasoning, instead denouncing the league for failing to provide a necessary location for him to, "fulfill his spiritual needs". The unnamed league official went on to say, "We assume that he is a well intentioned guy but we personally find him quite odd."
