Dunnville Mudcats - Rigged Voting?
(AP) Only hours after the announcement that his second run for boss of Canada's Junior Hockey team had come to a spectacular halt, Dunnville Mudcat GM and President Paul Roedb was back in the news day, this time complaining that the voting in the election for the Under 18 was perhaps, "manipulated". When pressed by telephone by national press representatives, Roedb declined to give any specific reasons for his accusations other than to say that "his people" had informed him of several potential, "irregularities". Emails from Mudcat team management to PPM officials were dismissed as "trivial" and "for the most part poorly written" and, from one league administrator who wished to remain anonymous, "We have far more important things to do with our time than to look into groundless, vague ramblings." With Roedb losing the voting 5-21 and finishing a very distant second, it is highly unlikely that any investigation would lead to a meaningful change in voting results.
