In an attempt to bolster their team awareness, manager Yoshi has purchase a PRO Pack. A bold move for a relatively new team but perhaps this is a sign of better times as the team is struggling badly, falling to 18th out of 20 spots in the league. On a 5 game losing streak, perhaps some new blood will be able to help out Ft. Yoshi in their weakest areas.

A variety of moves in the last few days has the team's prospects looking better.

Ville Faarinen comes over from Svetogorsk Herakles IF in a team record transfer of $1,050,000. A surpising amount for a new team but one that is relatively well-earned. Faarinen comes over fresh out of the sports academy. Granted that he hasn't had much experience yet, he will be looking to building on his solid foundations and become the leader of this club. In his debut with the new team, he scored 1 goal and had 4 shots while playing an instrumental role on the first line.

Jaroslav Luprich comes over from HC YYH for a transfer fee of $420,000. Considering that he is older than the average age of the players, fans are questioning the motive behind the move. Manager Yoshi has informed us that the move was based on the need for solid goaltending, as evident in the clubs recent spiral. After starting goaltender Garry Dailey went down with a wrist injury, backup Curtis Eckhardt has been absolutely abysmal. Look for Luprich to hold the fort while Ft. Yoshi develops its next prospect...

Tapio Koskenkorva comes over from Viikingit CP for a small sum of $70,000. Although he's still somewhat older than the other players, he does have some goaltending experience which this team lacked so much of. Hopefully, he will be able to remain a solid backup to the team while Ft. Yoshi looks for a young goaltender to develop along with their budding young Finnish Star Faarinen. Not only does this trade do wonders for a backup but also as a development for Faarinen considering the language barrier and Finnish background.

Amongst the new staff team, Manager Yoshi has put together a small but decent bunch.

So with the team built around their young Finnish Star, perhaps we will see them improving in the standings after the new transfers. Keep an eye out for Ft. Yoshi in the future. Although still new, they look to be a mainstay in the game for a while.
