After winning the first game of their series against Backstreet, the Iowa Wild had to wait nearly a week to log another win. But after losing the league finals they managed to put together back to back wins to win promotion to league II.3.

In conjunction with that celebration the Iowa wild unveiled their new logo and uniforms which they will start wearing immediately.

Look for some big changes in the coming season for the Wild. They currently have 8 players heading for camp who will miss the first game of next season. Some are old pros like Edward Gonzalez and William Benton, while other are relative newcomers like Ira Dutton and the "Polish Hammer" Pantaleon Waszkiewicz. A couple of longtime players will also be changing positions. Edward west who has centered the top line and served as team captain will be moving to left wing next season. Edward Gonzalez, who won the III.10 scoring title from Right wing, will be moving to center when he gets back from camp. The biggest news however, is that popular goalie Earnie Bullock will return to his starting job when he gets back from camp. Bullock lost his starting job when he got hurt early in season 2 and was replaced by Andrej Guba and later Sebastien Enroos. But, he has been working hard to get back to form and is ready to take back his job.
