(Reaction from Mudcat rookie Damien "Chirpy" Rogers after last night's 3-2 shootout win over the Midnight Marauders officially eliminated the Dunnville team from the post season.) "Well, you know, that's just one of those things, you know? We really went out there last night and gave it our best shot but the bounces just weren't going our way and in the end we just came up a little bit short, you know? We were all pretty down after the game but we know we can't just hang our heads and there is still a lot out there to play for there so we're gonna have a good skate today and be ready to go again tonight. It's gonna be a long off season you know (the PPM off season is usually a little more than a week) and there's gonna be a lot of soul searching but I'm sure the guys are gonna show up for camp next season and be ready to make a run for it again."
