Romford Tornadoes† - Romford changes lineup
Romford, 17/11/2010 - The manager of the Romford Tornadoes, Alexander Lowenhart, has let known not to aim for promotion this season. They are doing quite well in League III.14, but despite the results, the manager is not beaming just yet. Lowerhart has said to wish to start building up a team consisting more out of players from the United Kingdom in a bid to help the National team.
The Tornadoes already have the licenses from the local borough, Havering, to expand their stands to increase capacity and to develop a better training centre. The plans are to release more foreign players to the market to give the local players a better chance.
It will have an impact on the results Lowenhart admitted "It will bring us perhaps a bit down. But I believe in time, this team can grow forwards and upwards without seeding the English leagues with more foreign players. That is my goal, to bring back a good and pure British team in order to help develop the British ice hockey more over time. I expect to see results in the beginning of next season, but do not pin me down onto it."
There are no comments yet from the staff or players from the Tornadoes. But it seems like a major earthquake will happen in the rooms of the Romford Ice Arena.
