Canada Brampton Capitals† - Dawn of a new day.

Big changes in the Capitals Camp today.
Brampton signed 3 players who spend last season with I.1's Guelph Gryphons. Centremen Wesley Inglethorpe and Jacob Neil as well as Goalie Greg Upson.

In order to clear some roster space TJ Seagraves, Karl Howarth, Shane Reid, Ian Boucher, Matthew Martin and, Bob Xavier have all been put up for transfer.
T.J. Seagraves has also been revealed of his duties as captain and Brampton awarded the "C" to newcomer Wesley Inglethorpe.
Head coach Maurice Coates said the following of the appointment of the new captain. "He's been with a club that's won league titles and he spent last season playing in the best league in Canada. He knows what it takes to be at the top of the sport and now we want him to help lead Brampton towards that goal."

In an interesting side note: Brampton has a 2 game away series in Guelph coming up August 24th and 26th. The 3 former Gryphons will be able to play in front of the former home crowd.

Heading into the 5th season in Brampton Capitals/Screaming Eagle history the club is looking to make a few more roster moves in order to be considered a contender for the III.2, as the only thing missing at this point is a some hardware in the cabinet for the Capitals.
