Canadá Gibsons Biznows† - Biznows preparing for season 13 playoffs

As the sun sets on another regular season of PPM hockey, the Biznows turn our attention to the playoffs. Hoping to avoid another embarassing first round defeat, we have been preparing all season for this moment. From the acquisition of some high-end experienced veterans, to some outside-the-box ideas for energy management, we are trying everything possible to shake the label of playoff chokers.
Critics point to the crease as a potential downfall for the Biznows this season, not because of a lack of talent, but because of the distraction of having two number one goalies. After a meltdown by veteran netminder Medard Drzsman during the first round last season, GM Biznow was forced to look to homegrown talent Trevor Duberry to take over as number one . However, a lacklustre start for Duberry, combined with the strong play of Medard Drzsman led to the two goalies splitting starts 50/50. While the critics say its a distraction, we here at the Biznows see it as an advantage. The idea that this may be causing a rift between the two goaltenders is ludicrous. When reached for comment the goalies had the following to say:
Medard Drzsman: "Trevor is going to be an elite goalie one day, this guy is the real deal. I have no problem splitting time with him, we're actually really good friends and roomies on the road. He's a real jokester, and does this bit where he pretends he hates me. "
Trevor Duberry: "Sometimes I watch him sleep, breathing in and breathing out, and think to myself how one little pillow over his face would finally make the starting job mine. I hate him, I hate him with a passion. They all think this is a joke, this is not a joke."
The playoffs are set to begin on friday, in a twist of fate, the Biznows have wound up against our longest standing rival, Fedidit Rangers. Both teams have followed a near identical path through the game, starting out competing against eachother in IV.5, on to III.2, and now II.1. Former team captain, Knut Brunner, who has been in many epic matches against the Rangers knows not to take this matchup lightly:
"Doesn't surprise me that we ended up against the Rangers. There's a lot of history here" Brunner continues, "it means a little more when you play these guys. This is another battle in the war. You can throw all your fancy stats out the window, this is going to be a brawl, and its anyones game. As a player, these are the games you live for."
We are advising fans to arrive early, first 6000 fans get a free Biznows playoff towel. There will be live music by Normally Swedish at the pre-game party in section A. Free beer for Biznows fans, and free month-old hotdogs for Rangers fans.

Finally, the Biznows organization would like to congratulate the GM of the Royal City Redshift, Canucks357, on his masters in science. Though we may be foes on the ice, the Biznows have the utmost respect for Mr. 357 and all the hard work he has put in to get where he's at. The only thing that bugs us here at the Biznows, is that we totally baked him a special cake, and he elected to put a picture of his mothers cupcakes on facebook instead.
