With hours to go before the puck drop of III.16 playoffs, excitment is building, all the players can't wait to hit the ice. Here is a breakdown of what to expect in the first round

1. UnknownAvs vs 8.Peterborough Petes
Season Seris: 2:0 UnknownAvs
The Petes have really turned around since getting there new GM and made great strides to become a playoff team. UnknownAvs have been the dominate team of the league since the get go. UnknownAvs will have no trouble beating out The Petes without there premium point producer Gord Kilford. A good chance for UnknownAvs to get heathly for the next round.

2. Wetwood Blouseman vs. 7. Skullz
Season Seris: 2:0
Wetwood Blousemen had a great season. Only losing two games in regulation both against UnknownAvs. Look to see more of the same in the playoffs. The biggest threat to UnknownAvs promotion hopes expect them to smash some Skullz in the first round.

3. Montagnards vs. LaSalle Lightning/Team Noname33361
Season Seris: 2:0
This could have been an interesting seris but with LaSalle's change in leadership there doesn't seem to be much good going on. The players have no idea who they are playing with game to game. All players that are succesful seemed to get kicked off. They have turned into the bad news bears of the league. Montanards will defeat them with ease.

4. Newmarket Chargers vs. 5.Maple Leaf
Season Seris: 1-1
Best first round matchup. The Chargers have had some trouble of late, ending the season with two losses. Once thought has a contender for promotion now being looked at being in a dogfight in the first round. Oppsite for Maple Leaf they have got hot and are riding a two game winning streak. Even though the Chargers have had rough week look for them to turn it around against Maple Leaf. I feel Maple are just a step behind the competion.
Prediction: 2-1 Chargers
