The Telford Taipans and the Telford Titans will meet for the first time ever tomorrow, with the game at the Snake Tank.

Despite struggling a little in the League this season, Titans are overwhelming favourites for the game, a fact not lost on Taipans Coach Oswin. 'We have to be realistic and accept that the Titans are a better side than ourselves. However, friendlies against stronger teams gives me a chance to give more ice time to our 3rd and 4th lines, as well as give some players some ice time'.

Coach Oswin has already revealed that his backup and third choice netminders will be in the firing line tomorrow and has not ruled out other changes.

Whilst the meeting between the two is the first in their history tomorrow, it is the first in a series of friendly matches between the two as the newly-formed Taipans look to gain more experience.
