Great game by Toronto with the final score of 16-0.

Despite having training camp running and lacking of 4th line Toronto managed to get a strong start of the season. Of course such a high scoring game is mostly because to the injury to Power65 goaltender and great game by Toronto's first line which combined for 30 points in total (10 goals and 20 assists).

Marko Weiner last season All-star left winger of the league got 4 goals and 4 assists, while last season All-star center Niclas Buscher added 2 goals and 4 assists. Finally, most recent acquisition Per Leis got 4 goals and 3 assists. Among others to watch, ex-first line winger Levin Pieper who didn't make All star team last season only due to higher amount of points of opponent (same amount of All star team appearances) Levin Pieper. He added hat-rick and 1 assist from the 2nd line.

However Toronto need seriously rework special teams. Even though they play very disciplined game and didn't take any penalties, they failed to capitalize on all 3 power play opportunities which rises a very serious issue to address for the coaching staff.
