The Buggies are slowly turning their fortunes around this season. In the last few games, they've managed to crack the top 12 for the first time since game day 3.

"With the addition of Keyshawne Gagne, Reginald Higgins and Gordon Stone, the team is making an advancement forward," said primary goalie Dominik Mensik. "We're heading forward now."

With an unexpected win against Biznow, the team jumped into sole possession of 12th place, and look to continue their hot streak when they face Les North Stars later in the week.

When asked about his current status as the primary goalie, Mensik smiled.

"I'm going to do whatever it takes to get this team to the playoffs. I just want to do my part."

Ryan Archambault, former captain and longest-serving player of the Elmira Horse and Buggies, has full faith in his team.

"I've seen what it takes to get this team to the top and I think we can get these guys there too. It is a different and tougher league than before, but I think we can rise to the challenge."

Only time will tell.
