The Rangers Update!!! October 6th 2010

What a finish for the Fedidit Rangers! There was only a handful of games left and the Rangers in 5th spot in the race of the playoffs where any team could go from 3rd to 10th in a couple of games. The Rangers were able to rally for a 3rd place finish at the end of the season when the 3rd place Schrödinger's Cats tied there game and the 4th place Windsor Prostitutes lost their game giving the Rangers 3 points for winning against Dinamite† enough to move past both teams!

"This was a very hard season!" says GM Eric Hodgson. "There was a lot more "A" teams this season than last and we had to tweak our lines and make a few bold calls up from the Sports Academy to make this team work this season."

For those of you who used our predictions from out last press release to make wagers on the games, sadly you lost money....

"With this final win of the season, not only do we get home ice advantage..." says LD Seth "Charles" Xavier,"Depending on how things roll in the playoffs we can put off facing Hunters de Baskatong until hopefully a great league final for first place!"

Just missing the playoffs is team Biznows who did everything they could to keep their playoff hopes alive. They were able to win their last game as they sat in 9th place but sadly the 7th and 8th place teams also won their games thus shutting to playoff door in Biznows face. Good luck next season Biznows!!!

You can really get an idea on how close the final 5 games of the season were as even with the regular season over, there is still only 12 points separating 3rd from 9th.

The Post season officially gets underway for the Rangers this Friday with the first of a best of 3 series against the 6th place finisher.....Canadiens du Mont-Royal!
