Washington Maurauders GM Maurius Haeberle caused a stir at a press conference today when he suggested that the Maurauders current run of form could land them in the post season. He's been great for us. He's one of the best goalies in the league quite honestly. We're a very young team especially on D so to have him back there really helps out. He's never caught off guard. He reads the game better than most forwards and he's amazing at dictating the pace of the play in his own zone." Norwegian captain Tarjei Smestad said regarding his new number one netminder. Adds defenseman and team defenive points leader Ilija Drinic "Oleg is our rock. He bails us out when we mess up. He tells us where to go, what to look for.
