美国 Minnesota Frostbite - Frostbite Advance in National Cup for First Time; Eye Playoff Berth

The Frostbite took another step forward this season, advancing to the second round of the National Cup for the first time in team history, finishing 9th in the regular season (the highest in team history), and reaching the 9th/10th series of the placement playoffs for the third consecutive season. "We are happy with the progress we are making, and proud to be doing it with players developed in our own system," said General Manager Joe, "but our work is not done, next season we really want to find a way into the playoffs so we can be competing for promotion in the postseason."

Team captain Philip Cook (30 goals, 56 assists) and defenseman and powerplay quarterback Matt Vandyke (22 goals, 28 assists) are becoming popular players among the fanbase. Furthermore, a number of Frostbite players reached career statistical milestones this season. Vince Mott, Clint Winters, Milton Morris, Philip Cook, and Douglas Franklin all registered their 200th point. Vince Mott, Clint Winters, and Milton Morris scored their 100th goal. Ed Snow, Paul Arevalo, and Clyde Li were credited with their 100th point. Milton Morris, Philip Cook, Douglas Franklin, Melvin Bonner, Lonnie Benoit, Clint Hart, and Jim Cuevas notched their 100th assist. Finally, goalie Gene Stephens earned his 10th career shutout.

At the international level, General Manager Joe coached the USA U20 team for the third consecutive year, leading them to a 6-1 record to finish first in Division II and earn promotion to Division I.

Off the ice, the Frostbite continue making investments in their facilities. Notably, the arena is undergoing an aggressive renovation, replacing the old bleachers with more comfortable individual seats, and adding extra amenities to key sections. "We would not be making the progress we are without our fans, so it is important that we return the favor and provide them with the gameday atmosphere they deserve," said Joe.
