The Frostbite took another step forward this season, advancing to the second round of the National Cup for the first time in team history, finishing 9th in the regular season (the highest in team history), and reaching the 9th/10th series of the placement playoffs for the third consecutive season. "We are happy with the progress we are making, and proud to be doing it with players developed in our own system," said General Manager Joe, "but our work is not done, next season we really want to find a way into the playoffs so we can be competing for promotion in the postseason."

Team captain Philip Cook (30 goals, 56 assists) and defenseman and powerplay quarterback Matt Vandyke (22 goals, 28 assists) are becoming popular players among the fanbase.
