The Brampton Capitals announce the signing of Goalie Jean Appleton from III.7's Guelph Gryphons.

Manager Clode of Guelph said the following of Appleton:
"We are obvious sad to see Jean go but he will have a better opportunity there to play. We were hoping for more compensation given his abilities but to be frank, the market is very unpredictable these days. We wish him nothing but the best."

Asking to put his 2 cents in, J. Motley (manager of the Capitals) said the following:
"Jean was so appealing to us for a few reasons. #1- He's a young, hungry goalie looking to find a place where he can fit in and get some ice time. #2- He comes from a quality organization. Guelph has been a force in III.7, and that means he's had a chance to play with some great players. Finally, the price was right. We look forward to having Jean and to building a relationship with Guelph as well."
