The Frostbite added to their roster, drafting center Tommie Dixon and defenseman Daniel Sharrow, and bringing up center Tracey Behr from the sports academy. To make room on the roster, Minnesota had to part way with long-time veteran goalie Gene Stephens and defensemen Harry Chestnut and Clyde Li.
Stephens played 233 games between the pipes, logging 61 shutouts. "Gino was the first starting goalie in team history, and he won a lot of games back there for us" said Joe.

Li scored 105 goals and 265 assists for 370 points in 580 games for Minnesota. "Clyde was a model of consistency, being the last player to have played in every competitive Frostbite game in team history," said Joe, "all three of these great players will be missed.
Assistant Sporting Director Joe Averill and Head Physician Miguel Mark both retired. "Joe was an exceptional asset when it came to working with our veteran players, and Miguel was instrumental in keeping our boys health and ready to go night in and night out, they will both be missed and hopefully enjoy a well-deserved retirement," said Joe.
GM Joe managed the USA U20 team for the 13th straight year, winning the Division 1 championship and earning promotion to the top division.
"Our fans should look forward to another exciting year of Frostbite hockey as our franchise continues to grow, and we are looking forward to delivering on their expectations, "said Joe.
