Hello out there hockey fans!! The North Stars have been promoted from League III.10 to League II.3 with two convincing wins in the Rel/Pro round of last seasons playoffs. Had a very hotly contested championship series with the Hamilton Hammers and it came down to the wire, with Hamilton scoring the championship winning goal with 29 seconds left in overtime. A hard fought and well deserved win to the Hammers, congratulations to them. We'll be seeing them again this season, tho, with the Rel/Pro win. Now we're in a real dogfight to keep pace with the relatively stronger teams in II.3. Always assessing and making the needed changes to keep pace, the North Stars this season will be retaining the services of fan favourite #1 goaltender Ian "Champs" Champman, who was awarded the Best Save Percentage Award last season in League III.10. A number of regulars, including longtime center iceman Graham Walters, wingers Ian "Bushy" Bushell and Peter "Dobsy" Dobsinsky are also returning in fine form in the chase for the Cup.

Looking forward to the competition and speaking with all the GM's in our new league at some point, the North Stars players and staff would like to welcome all new Managers to PPM, it's a pleasure to be a part of this really great game.
