Matadoren fall to Anarchians on Monday with score 24-0. This score is matching team-highest-ever-score from the week before in the game against Baraccudas. Olav Ribbeck recorded 5th consecutive record and Toronto's special team was rock-solid again scoring 5 power play goals and adding 2 short handed, while surrender none. Entire team had outstanding performance, but it wouldn't be full review without mentioning 3 hat-ricks players: Niclas Busche, Per Leis and Lars Nieder.

Tuesday, April 1st was a National Cup game. 5 teams of league Iv.8 took part in it - all 5 lost and are out from National Cup.

1st placed Toronto Anarchians lost to Senators 09 positioned 18th in the league I.1 with the minimal difference of 1 goal. Score was 2-1 in favor of Senators. Toronto opened scoring early in the first with goal on power play. Senators equalized it few minutes later. After it was a scoreless game until the middle of the 3rd period. Toronto's goaltender Olav Ribbeck made over 60 saves in that game.

2nd place Vohwinkel Foxes lost 0-9 to Leipzig Pirates positioned 17th in the league II.1.

3rd place red-white alligators lost 0-18 to Glan Valley Eaglets positioned at 17th place of league I.1.

6th place Flensburg Wölfe lost 0-19 to Spaßfreunde Lübtheen 2nd place in league II.4.

Finally 9th place Das beste Team der Welt got worst draw ever in face of Altmark Penguins positioned in the 2nd place of league I.1. No much chances in this game - score went 0-27 in favor of Penguins.

Our experts are really concerned about the way National Cup is played, they really believe that it should be separate cup for teams in different leagues of the country otherwise matches are rather uneven and in many cases 3-4th league teams have no chances against 1-2nd league teams.

League IV.8 experienced another wave of fires of General Managers, this time two more managers left their jobs. Teams Kölner Haie EC and EHC Grizzly Adams in search of replacement.

Today Anarchians are playing against Kölner Haie EC. One of the teams who fired their general managers just a day ago. Kölner are at 14th place in the league with 2 wins and 5 loses.

Injuries: Kölner Haie EC will be playing without a prospect Rouven Stock who is out with Ankle fracture. Also Darius Petersen (meniscus damage) and Olli Sauter (rib fracture) are counted as day-to-day and may appear in the game. Darius Petersen participated in 2 games collecting 1 goal, while Olli participated in 5 games collecting also 1 goal. Toronto will be playing without defender Günter Ludwig who played in 4 games collecting 1 goal and 1 assist. Toronto called out Manni Nitz from the farm team to replace him. Manni played 3 games this season having 1 goal and 2 assists.
