Sportsworld Crossing Was jumping after Monday's match between The Bizan Hockey Club and Lincoln High. The 5th seeded Lincoln High team came into Kitchener with the goal of dashing the BHC playoff push once and for all, but it was not to be. After suffering a devastating loss against a lower seeded opponent in their previous game, the Bizanos looked to make amends to their coach and show him how spirited a game they can play.

Coach Gagne had high praise for his team after the match "These guys just keep pulling out all the stops. The fans are certainly getting their money's worth with us this season...Malý was huge today in net. He fed off the energy the team was playing with to make some crucial saves in the final frame that kept us ahead by two. We never let Lincoln smell a chance at victory tonight." Gagne's gameplan tonight was executed perfectly by the BHC squad, helping the team overcome a formidable opponent.

Lincoln High GM could not be reached for comment after the game. Their sights are set squarely on competing for promotion in a tight III.9 conference.

The win tonight leapfrogs BHC into the 8th and final playoff spot with one game remaining on the road against the 12th seed Renamed 12902 squad. League officials rejected the owner's application for naming rights. Details of the proposed name change were not disclosed to the media. If the Bizanos can pull off a win or overtime win in their last game, they will clinch a playoff berth, but anything less will depend on Sherwood Park's efforts against Palace and Seigneur de Soulange's match-up against Crapaud Frogs on Wednesday night.

Head Trainer Gerard Cloutier was asked about the training methods for upcoming game: "We're going to stick to our regiment of primary role training. We want to emphasize the fundamentals. We're going to be playing a team who wants nothing more than to prove their worth at the end of a long season, and we need to control them down low in their zone, keeping our heads about us. If we can stay out of penalty trouble, and stick to our gameplan, we should be able to capitalize on this opportunity and look to make some upsets in the playoffs." A little early to confirm anything, but clearly the BHC staff is optimistic of a positive result on Wednesday.
