As the Dusters move one after one season in III.5, we look back at the 3.5 year history of the Dusters. Original Duster Rodney Seifferly moved on to find some PT just before the Finals, leaving Otto Pozzelbon as the veteran, entering his 4th season on the team holding down the Center spot on the 5th line. While Otto is moving on with us, Rodney must travel his own path, as will the Raging Roosters, who failed to win the promotion game, to follow me up as they did last season. Looks like they are the odds on favorite to WIN III.5 in season 17! On a side note, the ony other player with more than 2 seasons of experience as a Duster, Wood Griffith, was let go earlier this season to make way for younger, better, less penalty-prone players.
Individually, some player's have or are about to hit some nice milestones:
Filip Gavin 98 goals, 150 assists, 248 points as a Duster: 596 CAREER points. The guy he replaced as the top Duster scorer, Larry Ricks, retired with 544, about 200 as a Duster. Bystrík Rozkoš has 209 points as a Duster, and 2nd line Wiger Hector Mangor is 3rd.
We, my players and I.. will all miss you guys. Maybe I stay in II.1 for 2 seasons and see a few of you there in 2 seasons. PEACE!
