It wasn't pretty but the Intrepids somehow backed into the eighth, and final playoff spot. After suffering a humiliating 9-1 defeat at the hands of Opice the Intrepids still managed to make the playoffs after the MN Wild won in a shootout. Although tied in points the Intrepids held the tie breaker. Now they hold the daunting task of facing the 1st place Boston Bashers. Although the Intrepids were 0-2 against the Bashers during the season the games were close. To make matters worse the Intrepids must face the Bashers without their top scorer Kadeem Garvey, out with a broken finger. All in all an improvement on last season the Intrepids look to win their first playoff game in their history.
