in the penguins playoff debut, we felt the heat of the playoffs as it is. the penguins started with 3 goals and seemed to be cruising to an easy victory when the expos scored in the end of the second period, setting the stage for a comeback to tie the game at three and send it to overtime. there, we saw the clutch if Arnaud Parlour, the goaltender, who until then, had had a very disappointing performance with 3 goals let in on 19 shots. speaking of shots, you could see, just by the shot comparison(42 to 19)that the penguins would have won if not for Nathan Harvey, expos goaltender, who made 39 saves. in the shootout, we saw the penguins get their rightfully earned win thanks to a mistake by Harvey, allowing a five hole goal by Jeffrey Beattie. the following save by Parlour secured the 1:0 shootout win for the penguins.
