(AP) In an effort to persuade Dunnville area fans to give up on their hockey team, new Mudcat owner Liu Ya Ya has promised that the first casualty of a successful relocation of the Ontario team would be President and General Manager Paul Roedb. Speaking from his Beijing area office, the Chinese business magnet said through his interpreter that he would personally fire the highly unpopular Roedb to appease the local citizenry. Despite the fact that acceptance of the offer would entail losing their beloved hockey team, the deal seems to have split local fans with many seemingly willing to give up on the Mudcats in order to see Roedb go.
