Kanada The Galacticos† - Top 10 Transfers: Post Season - League IV-14

This list is dedicated to the top 20 transfers of the second half of the season. The players available for this ranking were bought after July 22nd. The rankings will combine the OR, transfer price, points, PPG, and team place in regular season.

1. Francisco Javier Martin (2.1M) - The Galacticos
- With the injury trouble in the left wing of the Galacticos' offense, F.J. Martin was acquired for 2.1M first as a replacement for the top LW spot, but soon proved to be the most all-around skilled player on the roster. He soon became team captain and tore up the League IV-14 opponents along with linemates Donaldson and Akesson. He finished the season with an astounding 42 goals and 125 pts in only 18 games.

2. Clay Davison (465K) - Team Devastation
- Possibly the best Canadian player in League IV-14, he has been a challenger for F.J. Martin for the best 2nd half acquisition all season. A player with extreme consistency, he posted terrific numbers of 40 goals and 126 pts in only 18 games. Davison had the pleasure of being the best point per game player in the league with 7pts/game. With Team Devastation aiming to get far into the playoffs, Davison's consistency needs to be present in order for success.

3. Pavol Bucko (1.995M) - Falcon's
- As a player in a European team with fierce competition, Bucko did not post great numbers due to lack of ice time. However, the Falcon's discovered the potential this late-bloomer had, and brought him to the club for an expensive price of almost 2M. As expected, this player's potential started to become apparent as he took his place on the top line. He finished the season with solid numbers of 38 goals and 88 pts in 28 games.

4. Rostislav Kmostak (700K) - The Galacticos
- Kmostak is arguably the best financial buy of the season. His cheap price in relation to the attributes and OR he has, in the shape of a top-line LW, is a great factor in his place in this rankings. As a late-season acquisition, he only played 10 games, but impressed with 22 goals and 67 pts. Now as the top LW along with center Donaldson and RW F.J. Martin, this player is looking to contribute in the playoffs.

5. Erkki Tarhola (1M) - Team Big in the Pants
- Bought by TBITP to immediately strengthen the squad, Tarhola suddenly became the saviour for his new team. As big as the expectations were, he delivered well as the team's top right winger. As a prolific goal-scorer, he averaged a hat-trick a game as he scored 60 goals with 114 pts in 20 games. With TBITP facing a tough opponent in the Broncos in the first round of playoffs, Tarhola will be in the spotlight.

6. John Gaudet (210K) - Team Devastation
- This dynamic goal-scoring center has drawn comparisons to Galacticos star center Carlos Donaldson for his ability to grab goals and set up linemates for perfect plays. As a 16 year-old, this Canadian center put up 42 goals and 60 assists in 18 games, which proved that he has more to show in the future.

7. Bohumir Povolny (5M) - The Galacticos
- The Galacticos was looking through the market all season to find the "true" franchise defenseman who will act as a core for the club for years to come. Povolny looked to be the perfect one, but due to the fierce competition for his signature from other clubs, the Galacticos had to raise the transfer fee to a League IV-14 best 5M. Best suited as a two-way defenseman who can act as a stay-at-home defender with a booming shot from the point, he topped league defensemen with 34 goals and 104 pts in 20 games.

8. Tristan Maret (347K) - Bramalea Broncos
- A product from a League II French team, Maret joined the Broncos to showcase his terrific skills as a dynamic center in the North American style of hockey. In only 18 games, this talented center put up 40 goals and 91 pts. As the primary set-up man alongside Spanish star Oscar Corella, Tristan Maret will have to carry the pressure to bring the best out of his Spanish teammate to ensure success in the playoffs.

9. Elias Olausson (390K) - Team Devastation
- This 17 year-old Swedish LW joined the offensive Team Devastation to further strengthen their goal-scoring ability. Since playing in 18 games, posting 38 goals and 100 pts, he has drawn comparisons to All-Star and League Point leader Max Akesson as a dynamic Swedish winger who can light up the lamp by dazzling opponents with creative plays.

10. Jakub Zajicek (2.1M) - Falcon's
- As the season progressed, the Falcon's saved up funds to pursue talents on their defence line. As a bit of a late-bloomer in 24 years of age, Zajicek is now the veteran star on the Falcon's defence core. After posting 7 goals and 26 pts in 8 games for the Falcon's this season, he is showing that his experience on the blueline will guide the Falcon's into the playoffs, and possibly promotion.

Honourable Mention:

Jakub Bakiera (1.7M) - Falcon's
Gyula Miskolczi (636K) - Team Big in the Pants
Grzegorz Dziubak (1.3M) - Falcon's
Luis Prieto (1.1M) - Team Devastation
Jamaal McVeigh (300K) - The Galacticos
