Burton was the pillar on the blue line for the Snakes for many seasons. His eye on the ice was unequaled, and his precise, hard shot earned him the nickname Bullet-Don. He wore the C on many occasions during his tenure, and will always fondly be remembered by the team with whom he spent most of his playing career.
