Storm† - The Storm: Now Under New Management
With In the USA League 3:10, the Storm have been at the bottom of the barrel for several seasons running. What few fans the team has left have been calling for a complete revamping of the team from the players on the ice, to even a more serious owner. Now that the League has started to consider shutting the team down all together, the ownership has finally decided a change is in order.
Mr. Weeze has taken the new spot of General Manager of the Struggling Storm. "While it is late in the season, and winning the league at the end of the season does seem a bit out of reach, I have not giving up on this season all together...We still have more then enough time to show the rest of the league that we will not go down with out a fight."
Furthermore, Weeze has stated that the first challenge that must be over come is putting the fans back in the seats. "We can't win games if we can't pay players. We can't pay players if the fans don't show up. They won't show up if we don't win."
The Storm management have already been hard at work searching out players, and coaches to bring in. After only a day and a half, 700,000 dollars have already been spent on upgrades to the arena, and the Teams facilities.
We aren't sure what the future holds for the Storm, but one thing is for certain, the Storm finally have a fighting chance.
