The Struggling Storm suffered another lost today, ending their two game win streak, the longest of the season. The 5-2 loss to the HailToTheCapitals occurred in the Lightning Dome disappointing fans and players alike. Still, the coaching staff and Higher management manage to keep a smile on their faces.

While the fans watched the strong puck control despite the loss, the management was finalizing a deal with Nocturnal Beasts for Ivan Gerasimov. The coaching staff is excited to welcome the young player, and plan on letting him take the starting spot over the next few games, excited to see what he can do.

"The Acquisition of Mr. Gerasimov is only the first step." Said General Manager Weeze. "Our offense has proven to me that they can shoot, and they can score. They Can win games. With that in mind, I'm not in a huge rush to mess with that. What I do plan on changing however, is the direction of our Defense. By this time next season, I want this team to have an offensive nightmare. I want to have a shut down defense no one can stop, and I am more then willing to spend the cash to do it. And if our current coaches don't agree to that plan, I can easily hire some that will."
