Bricktown TwigStarz manager TwigStarz set out after the Season 7 disappointment to right the ship, and has done so seemingly without any argument so far.

Leading a team that is 6-0-0-0 on the season, and 8-0-1-0-0 in all play, everything seems to be going right. With the team scoring an average of 5.7 goals in the league, and only allowing 9 thus far (1.5 GAA), there are many bright spots to look at. The return of (Wes) Duxbury and (Jassen) Rimmer to pure goal scoring form has been the catalyst for this potent offence, and the emergence of Zayden Amlinger as a star in this league are just a few of them.

When asked why the team has been playing so well, the Duckman replied by saying, "I think we are just gelling very well right now, and really playing like we can, having fun, and letting the goals come. We've had an easy schedule, but when tested by the likes of Bizan, I think we showed that we are really playing great hockey right now."
Zayden Amlinger had this to say about his team leading 5 goals on the year: "Well, I worked on my shooting in the off-season, and it's really just the fact that now everything is going in for me. I couldn't be happier for the start so far!"

The Starz play a friendly today against the Drunken Monkeys, a team that they whalloped 7-1 yesterday, albeit a weary reserve squad.

Nonetheless, they run their record in the last 66 friendlies to an unworldly 58-0-2-0-6, and in icing a patched together squad today, hope to improve on a nearly perfect run.

The Starz return to League II.3 play on Monday, when they play away versus the Hamilton Hammers, followed by a home contest against the last place Flying Piggies to end the month.
