Recently, Exceleration's top goalie visited the local seniors home. It was great to see the young man visiting and helping his elders. Raised just down the street, he used to spend every day at the Shady Pines Senior Home for Retired Baseball players.
"The folks here were like my second parents, they helped me develop into a top goalie. They helped me more than any coach I ever had" Galen stated just before entering the front door. At which point, 50 cartons of milk came flying at him. Ducking, smiling, and a quick wave, the young goaltender was gone.
"That young punk, I don't care if he is leading the team to success this year...He used to come here and run all over the lawn, and we would throw stuff at him to get him to leave, Hit him once too, that was a great day - a bowl of pudding smacked him right in the forehead, there he was, 9 years old with chocolate pudding dripping down his face - priceless"
