Press Release for the Scotland Saints.
From the desk of the Board of Directors.

This message is a bit late to most of you, and we know that. But first off... Let us be the first to say “Thank You”. Without the work of our Fans, Members, and Community this city wouldn’t have received recognition and permission to host a professional hockey team.

Now when I say professional… Only scoring one goal in 5 games… hardly seems professional. And I’ll wait for your laughter to subside before I continue.

But… We are here because of a number of reasons, but first off… because of our accountants. Getting all the funding in place and a small arena built ahead of schedule and under budget, made for a sooner than expected season start. Don’t get me wrong, we are happy to be here at the start of Season 17, but we need to get a few more things in place to get this team successful. Not having a coach for starters is something we are still to this date are struggling with. And without clear direction, we are doomed for failure. Now keep in mind that getting a new head coach isn’t going to miraculously turn this ship around. This is going to take some time and experience. Playing against the well developed and established franchises in our league isn’t going to be easy, but we are hoping to at least provide some competition against these clubs in the second half of this season.

We hope to provide you with a positive update half way through the season. Again thank you for your support and understanding, and we look forward to growing together.
