GM TwigStarzs continued retooling his roster over the past week, finding 3 more forwards, a goalie and a defenceman, in G Matej Hrabar, forwards Marek Jašek, Veniamin Smolin, and Reuben Dolson, and defenseman Drahomír Rysuľa.

These acquisitions will hopefully turn the product on the ice into something the fans can be more proud of, as 2 wins from their last 5 competitive games is nothing to write home about.

We'll see if the season ends on a high note, the playoffs begin this Friday with a series against the Estevan Hot Rods, a team very capable of putting pucks in the net.

In other news, it's been revealed that recent pickup Elijah Bartle was in fact the #1 overall pick in Canada's League I.1 mid-season draft, and although relegated to a backup role, hopes are high for keeping the TwigStarz core a domestic one.
