In an unfortunate turn of events, construction on TwigStarz arena was sent back to square one, as the initial seating upgrade wasn't up to Div. II standards; executives realizing that the maximum capacity would never be able to reach a sustainable amount.

It had been in the works, and in discussion for months, and at the time of construction, seemed like the start of a new chapter in TwigStarz Arena history.

That was not the case, and demolition of the stands in progress happened rather quickly, the club looking to put that mistake behind them.

All things considered, by the time construction is finally finished, Bricktown will have one of the premier arenas in the division, with a capacity that can sustain this rapid growth we've been seeing lately from the hockey club.

For those who are curious, this will take the capacity to 7100 when things are all said and done, a vast improvement on the current 3000 seat capacity.
