The Goats produced an impressive performance against high flying OKC Thunder in tonight top of the table clash.
The Goats who were back to full strength, gave OKC Thunders back-up netminder Burt Wellens little chance to find his feet as they peppered his net with 47 shots!
Coach Ranby said after the game " You have to feel for the young lad in the Thunder goal as we fired shot after shot at him, the poor lad must be shellshocked".
But Ranby also added that " You have to take your chances and if your opponents are weakened ,well you have to take full advantage and that's what we did tonight, I know that next time the Thunder will be looking for revenge".
Tonight's result puts the pressure back on Stockport Sabres with 4 teams now just 3 points behind them and waiting for them to slip-up.
