Bricktown

"Not today."

In a matchup that's become a rivalry of sorts, Bricktown traveled to Quebec and took down SwissHabs today 3-1 to keep their hopes of getting through to Div. I.1 alive.

Zayden Colquhoun split 2 goals between the first and second, and the two teams traded late third period goals to end up with the final result.

"It feels great to beat those guys," Colquhoun admitted after the game, looking noticeably relieved;
"they've kinda had our number the last bit, and in their barn, full crowd, yeah, it feels great."

Those two goals were important, putting Bricktown up 2-0 heading into the final frame, but it was veteran netminder Denver Caven who was key in this win. SwissHabs really came into the third firing, putting 15 shots at Caven, and although they did manage to get one through, with Mihaly Hankiss getting his 7th of the year, the Starz goalie stood strong, preserving the win for his team.

"We'd lost enough against these guys, but we weren't going to repeat that again. Not today.".
