The Oil Kings are going threw yet another defensive collapse. The team today announced that 7 defense men may be packing their bags on the way too new teams. Head coach Pierre Grondin said "Checcs has been great all year in net but has getting no help". The only bright spot is 1st liner Jarred Oag. Oag has been the only Oil King defender with consistent play. And that could even mean captain Dillon Colby suiting up for another come season 7. Colby had this to say on his coaches statement "I believe that coach is right about our inconsistent play I don't think all seven of us will be leaving how ever that's the head office's decision". Despite having periods of questionable defense the Kings are tied for 6th place. Rumor is Oag could be wearing the C next season depending on Dillon Colby. "Checci has played well in net lately, which is probably why we've been winning". Said 3rd string goaltender Vincent Hickey. The team has given up 30 or more shots in there last 4 games. Recently acquired goal tender Nebojsa Bosnjak hasn't yet been able to get some action between the pipes. This goaltender has 8 shut outs in his last 13 games. The rumor is he might get the start on Friday January 6th. Oswaldo Atheron has 8 points in his last 5 games. The Kings are at home Friday come dow and watch us!
