There are low times in Guelph. Both the Redshift and Alphas are severely struggling of late and are looking to bump the slump and string some wins together. With the most recent loss for the Redshift, coaches and management are telling their fans this:

"It is on today, the birthday of our good friend Aowyr, that we shall promise you, the fans, a better remainder of the season. We will do everything possible to remain in I.1 or die trying. We have been a contender season after season and being this low in the standings really is unacceptable" said canucks357.

The Redshift put on a special promotion today, where all fans were given Happy Birthday Aowyr t-shirts upon entering the arena to watch the Redshift play live on the road. Alpha fans will receive the same when they host Coal Harbour in the national cup third round today.

"He's a stand-up guy. We may not always agree on some issues, like his wife's bra size, but we both agree we have a lot of fun. Whatever happens in the world of sports, one should always look at the big picture and what matters. While winning isn't everything, it's the only-thing... friendship is okay too. And the Redshift/Alphas family has a good one down Sarnia way" stated canucks357.
