Bricktown TwigStarz - Season 37 Recap
21.08.20
Bricktown
With playoffs concluded, Season 37 has finally ended. Le Spatial took home both league and league playoff honors, with Weiser the only club even remotely close.
Everything else settled as one would have expected, the only intriguing storyline was the loss of Marshall de Montreal as a club, losing a manager, and a few playoff series, a shell of a club, frustratingly filling out the 8 spots looking to battle for glory.
That said, most everything was a walk, but the same cannot be said for the placement series'.
Sure, Bricktown cruised through their games, 3 series, 6 wins, but the same couldn't be said for a couple teams, dropping places in unusual fashion.
Spectral Lords, far from a powerhouse, bowed out in the first round (9-16th playoff), to a team in between managers, now the Vanstone Stones, and Ontario Minerva, recently promoted from III.2, succumbed to Renards, dropping from 13th in league play to 15th when the dust had settled.
All in all, things are looking up for season 38, 19 managed teams looking to square off in what should be an interesting season, 8 playoff spots, and the further 8 placement spots looking to be very competitive.
Sponsor deals are being negotiated as we speak, and come Monday, a new chapter will begin.
But it's anyone's guess how it'll finish.
