The Bricktown Twigstarz players are more than pleased with the way the season has been going early on, collecting 16 out of a possible 18 points, good for 2nd in the league. Scoring hasn't been a problem, putting 28 goals past opposing netminders, and with a sparkling defensive record, only conceding 6, their fans finally may have something to look forward to. Missing the main league playoffs last year after going 14-3-1-3-17 was a disappointment many fans hoped was rock bottom, and regaining the form that led them to the playoffs in the first 2 years of existance. Heading into this Mondays game against the Frenchmen, the mood the Bricktown Twigstars camp is pretty positive, but they still know all too well that you can't ever get to confident in League II.3, as season 4 proved with a tremendous slide from 1st to 8th in two weeks.
"We know any team in this league can beat the best, and we can't let last game get our hopes too high (a 21-1 win over a fourth league team), but we know if we keep doing things right, we have a good chance to win" replied captain Wes Duxbury. "We have a good goalie here in Ilya, and need to focus on scoring so that he can focus on stopping the pucks. I think if we do that, we should come out on top."

On a side note, the TwigStarz unveiled their jersey for the time being, and hoped having an face to put with Starz would finally get them noticed as a legit title contender.
